Climbing the famous mountain that appears in all the postcards behind the Incan citadel is a challenge that the most intrepid will not want to miss. If you are one of them, make sure to purchase a special pass for this excursion.
Access to this mountain is limited to just 2 daily shifts of 200 people each, and entry for each is at 07:00 and 10:00 in the morning respectively. The difficulty level is medium to high, not recommended for people with physical limitations or for small children. The ascent takes approximately 45 minutes and the complete excursion about 2 hours.
