If you miss your train, please contact our customer service desk as soon as possible, but please note that once your train has departed we cannot offer changes or refunds. For the return, the same coordinated service from Machu Picchu Pueblo to Cusco via train and bus applies.
How do I reach the entrance of Machu Picchu from the train station once I arrive at Aguas Calientes?
After arriving at Machu Picchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes), you can take a shuttle bus to the citadel entrance—a journey of approximately 30 minutes. Alternatively, you may hike the trail, which takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes, depending on pace and conditions. Bus tickets are available near the station entrance.
